I got a little treat today, too. My friend Sonya came into the office and went walking with me at lunchtime. I went a little bit of a shorter distance to accommodate her schedule and because I knew I'd be going to Zumba later, and it was totally worth it for the company. It made me think about when I lived in New York, and I used to work out every day with my friend Rita--sometimes I really miss having a partner.

- Day 18 of the 30 Day Abs Challenge (80 sit ups, 110 crunches, 48 leg raises, 70 second plank)
- Zumba with Tiffany at the Cary gym
- Breakfast: hot tea with 2% milk and 1/2 tsp raw sugar, two eggs scrambled with cheese, 2 Applegate farms chicken sage sausage links, some little tomatoes from the garden
- Lunch: salmon and squash baked in parchment with lemon and basil, tomatoes from the garden, 3/4 a medium honeycrisp apple
- Dinner: homemade tomato soup with parmesan crisps, cucumbers, 2 slices of turkey
- Snacks: 24 almonds and a glass of milk
